This elegant antique bar brooch dates to the Edwardian era, circa 1905–1915, and features a refined alternating design of rich purple amethysts and luminous pearls set in 18kt yellow gold. The brooch is finely hand-fabricated with openwork scrolling motifs typical of the period, creating a light, graceful appearance while retaining excellent structural integrity. Each gemstone is individually set, reflecting the craftsmanship of early 20th-century jewelers. An original early safety clasp—a transitional form between the Victorian C-clasp and later rollover mechanisms—confirms both the age and quality of this piece. The clasp functions securely and remains in excellent condition. The brooch is presented in a fitted Kazanjian Jewels, Beverly Hills box, a distinguished luxury jewelry house known for fine estate and gemstone jewelry. While the box may be later than the brooch itself, it adds historical interest and enhances presentation.
